Colorado Public Ink® Launches in Boulder County – June 2026

The year is 2016.

There is no air conditioning because we didn’t have an air conditioner.

There was no indoor plumbing because there was no plumbing.

We didn’t have storage space because — you guessed it — there was nowhere to store anything.

In a studio garage in our friends’ backyard in Longmont, Colorado, our “side gig” — Landslide Printing — was in its first year. We had a screen printing press, a few tubs of ink, and some friends who would order shirts from us.

That was it.

No investors.
No roadmap.
No grand vision.

Just people who believed in us enough to place an order.

Ten years later

Landslide Printing has grown into a staple for custom apparel across Northern Colorado.

We’ve printed for restaurants that are now packed every weekend.
For nonprofits that have expanded their reach.
For contractors, coffee shops, schools, startups, churches, and hometown events.

And if we’re honest?

We wouldn’t be here without this community choosing to support a small, local business when we were sweating in a garage with no plumbing.

Boulder County and the surrounding area built us.

So we’ve decided to pay it forward.

Enter Colorado Public Ink.

Colorado Public Ink is simple:

Free shirts for the local organizations that support Boulder County.

Because here’s the truth:

Branded apparel is often necessary — but it’s not cheap.

Staff shirts. Event shirts. Volunteer shirts.
For many organizations, it’s a recurring expense that quietly eats into already tight budgets.

Every dollar spent on infrastructure is a dollar not spent on directly impacting our community.

Let's change that.

2026 is Here.

In 2026 Colorado Public Ink will begin supplying free shirts to Boulder County thanks to a collection of local businesses like us who have been through it and are now giving back.

Because the community that built us deserves to see that support come full circle.
